HR Business Partner /Senior HR Manager- Melbourne Fl

Step up the career ladder with this Senior Human Resource Manager/HR Business Partner position. You will be responsible for implementation and oversight of human resource functions and serving as key HR business partner for employer's functions. This position will support multiple locations, including Florida, New Jersey, and Texas. Serves as advisor to management on all employee relations issues; acts as an employee champion and change agent. The HR Manager formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Consults with line management, providing tactical and strategic HR services and guidance when appropriate. Contributes to the business objectives by partnering with managers, supervisors and functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes. Provides guidance and input on employee relations, workforce planning and succession planning. Manages and resolves day-to-day and complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Support functional leaders, managers and supervisors to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure current and future performance standards are met. Ensure consistent application of all corporate policies and departmental guidelines. Communicate HR programs and policies to and address all related questions. Conduct investigations of potential violations of company policies. Lead the process of capturing desired changes in policies, practices or procedures.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.Identifies training needs for business units and individual manager coaching needs. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.Oversight of tactical administration of HR processes on HR systems for job changes and onboarding. Oversight of administration of Workers' Compensation/return to work issues, leaves of absence, and unemployment claims process.Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives. Participate in corporate HR project teams and programs. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsTechnical knowledge/skills

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Technical knowledge/skills Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiar with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures Advanced knowledge of employment law Education/Experience

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration required Must have 5+ years demonstrated HR/employee relations experience Master's degree in Human Resources with demonstrated Human Resource business partner experience preferred SHRM-CP or SHRM-CSP Certification a plus Bilingual strongly preferred General knowledge/skills

Advanced verbal and written communication skills Intermediate presentation skills Knowledge of training delivery and development Ability to travel
